todays generation is weak they are scard of a real pit early 90's was brutal, saw obituary, sepultora and sadus in one show at a bar in jersey called Gwillakers if u were in the bar u were in the pit, had a broken hand from the weekend before in the same bar, fuckin brutal pits, miss those days

The Slayer show I saw a few years back in Mass. was brutal but brotherly friendly at the same time... Hence, I saw some kid fall to the ground in the pit and some guy instantly pulled him up...if not he woulda been skull-crushed.

the only reason there was anyone moshing on stage at this show was because it was 1990 and in germany (euro pussy moshing. i saw these guys open for napalm at the palladium in 1993 and there was nobody on stage and a heavy pit filled with huge mexicans and thrashy tweakers. the vibe was old school and everyone picked eachother up. not like today where everyone tries to fuck eachother up like assholes, thus excessive security.
