personally i think the reviews are bullshit. it's really not a bad game in any way, like the gameplay, cast, and story is bad, it's the new features and changes thats got them bitching. like unable 2 lvl up the old cast or alter their equipment, removal of the field map, new voice actors, shorter game length, and new monster system. but the gameplay we grew up loving still kicks ass. but that depends on u. if any of the new stuff doesnt bother u, then this is a game u might like 2 try out.

I say buy it, as long as you have some spare cash. And the length isn't a problem because you'll probably spend a long time raising monsters, plus it has great replayability is good. Most pro reviewers are too harsh, I usually use Gamefaqs for reviews because any member can submit them, so you can hear opinions. If you are a Tales fan, this game should be great for you.

TOS KOR or TOS DOTNW, is great if your a tales fan. If your somewhat a Tales fan then you'll enjoy it very much. Reviews that I only can find are from GT, it sounds like the reviewers haven't really played the first one and know enough about it. Moving on. Bad thing about this game is it ain't that long honestly, it's about 30 hours or more to complete unlike the first one which was about 50 hours. So this game is something really enjoyable for fans, and a great RPG for Wii Owners.

Hi!, I'm from Colombia and i have a little problem.....now, i don´t know if i should buy this game....i used to love the first one, but, all those low reviews ratings, i mean they suck....so, if someone could tell me why this game, i'll feel a little bit better about wasting my money (in Colombia, all wii games cost like US$100 each :( )....Pleaseeeeeee helpppp...

This game sucked so much. I hated it. It was such a waste of time. It was so disappointing. Probably the worst game of all the Tales series. In my very own opinion, I'm not expert or anything, but this game just didn't do it for me.

although its not as good as the first game this game is still amazing in every way possible and seeing all the old characters brought back a lot of memories. ToS forever

To be honest namco does not actually get rid of the song, it is the people who dub it over, they think it would be "too Japanese"
