It's true that the younger skaters have flexibility and nice spiral positions, I but find that the artistry and emotion that was present in Sasha's skating is often missing from the younger skaters. But Mao really is of a different class to all the other skaters. Even when Sasha was in the competition circuit, Mao still came first. And Mao totally deserves to win - just watch her performance at the 2008 Worlds!
