2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid Road Test by Edmunds Inside Line

More than any other hybrid we've driven, the 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid has the most seamless transition between electric motor and gasoline engine. If we didn't tell you it was a hybrid and let you drive it, we doubt you would notice. And unlike Toyota's Prius, which was purposely designed to look special with its little shifter and Alpine cable car-like design, the Camry Hybrid looks almost identical to the non-hybrid Camry. They're driving among us and you don't even know it.

I got my permit today and will take a road test in March 2009. I hope I can drive a hybrid if I buy a car

I can vouch for the Camry Hybrid's gas mileage... I've averaged 40 on the highway and about 36 in the city. Not bad for a fully loaded midsize with plenty of amenities, comfort ant impeccable build quality. The thing most people don't consider when trying out the hybrids is that your gas-pedal action is NOT going to be the same as in a conventional gas-burner... it takes a few times driving it to get a proper "feel" for how to get the best mileage out of one.

Donate it to where outside of the control of the selfish middle class tycoon and let them modify and remove the limitation like people unlock cellphone. You do mankind a big favor.

Same thing with war. Subjectively, human lives is nothing if it is not comfy. Basterism! Shit is valuable if you didn't leave behind your credit record.

Hybrids have killed people in accidents, the batteries explode and they don't save gas! Hybrids dont work because they are environmental. They need lots of repairs too. Better to wait for hydrogen and not doing anything until then. Hydrogen is made out of normal, regular fossil fuels so oil companies won't go bankrupt and hurt the economy and lose people's jobs. But if we buy hybrids, oil companies will lay everybody off and ipods will be too expensive. Think about JOBS not saving gas.
