mate you dribble so much garbage all you do is blab about the fact you know everything and you work for cummins, big woop. do your research, talk to some rotary owners, posibly even drive one? who cares.. each for there own, if you dont like them, dont watch the videos dead simple. and by saying you know what your talking about in a mechanics term means im a complete bell end..

15000 rpm = More wear! Having to replace them precious Rotor Tips every 25000's mile when normal engine the piston rings don't need to be replaced till 110000!!!!

Who said I was comparing Diesel with Petrol? I'm just saying I know what I'm talking about.

Yes I agree 'Shit' if they that good then why has'nt Mazda sold the rights to other Engine manufacters because nobody wants it. The disavantages outweigh the advantages. But Japanese Technology still rules for me. Yes I know it was originaly German!

constant torque, more power than equivalent piston engine, less moving parts, half the weight, perfectly balanced, no reciprocal motion, can not pre-detonate like piston engines and 15000 plus rpm...

haha guess you drive an old pushrod v8 too, haha fagg

shit engine, low torque and drinks too much. Why would anyone want this engine

dude i work for westrac.. u go on bout trying to compare heavy diesel to a 1.3lt? its like saying because my haul truck makes 2000hp it will do 7sec quater mile.totaly diferant application. rotors are sick, providing you use them in the right application..not going to hual roads trains around but makes fucking awesome fun to drive.

RX8 is FAIL (renesis is garbage) previous gen 13b from RX7 is what you want. The engine is small makes alot of bower, VERY reliable if maintained properly aka 93octane fuel, checking oil every fill-up, and change oil every 1500 miles with non synthetic, yes its expensive, but you have to pay to play ;)

Yeah but thats tracks day's not on Road. You talk about power yeah BHP but what's BHP when you have no Torque??? I know more than what you think I work for Cummins Engines. I do I know that they is some advantages but those advantages better balanced engine and that. But the problems with them outweigh the advantages thats a common fact. Thats why you don't see more wankels on the ROAD!! I love Japanese cars just not rotary ones! |
