that law has been canceled a while ago.
I mean its common sense now, look at the cars coming from japan. Most are over 280. ( evo, sti, gtr, etc. )

RX8's should have been 20B stock,but itl probably be the platform for the new 16C mazda is developing,now thats going to be a sick Renesis!!!!

I hope the next generation RENESIS engine will be more powerful and respond better to turbos.

probably they didn't install turbo because japanies law don't let to produse cars more powerfull than 280 hp. But in any case if it would have turbo I think the fuel consumption would be less |
