HELLZ YEAH MUDGET!!! I was there, I remember. I HATED the late 80s pop culture and then I was rescued from the sea of suckitude. That was the best time of my life, man.
And then it all had to die and I don't think it's ever coming back.

i wish some of you guys could have seen NIN when they first broke and were only starting to make a name for themselves. it was just a great time for music in general. jane's addiction, butthole surfers, NIN, the list goes on and on. the sound was raw and ate its way into your brain, the shows were absolutely religious, and it felt like music was finally being reborn after all that hair rock bullshit of the 80's.
start a new musical revolution. the world needs it.

I have to disagree. I saw them recently after skipping on Year Zero because some of the stuff on With Teeth was disappointing, and they blew me away. I went and downloaded YZ and The Slip and after listening to them for a while now I can see that Trent has become a better songwriter and producer. Year Zero is amazing and The Slip is really good, live the songs are even better.
