Entwistle asked not to be filmed in this show. he wanted his music to speak for itself. Moon came out of this show looking like a star

Yeah, that's a real pisser. Just because you have Roger swinging the mic in every direction, Pete windmilling for all he's worth and Keith exploding joyously behind what's left of his kit, no one ever thought to really film the Ox. At least there's some great footage of him on an idolstade bass track from the last time Keith played with them in '78.

Quite different from the later version on Rock and Roll Circus but wonderful nonetheless. The Who, along with those other guys--Beatles, Stones, Kinks, Animals, Dylan, Byrds, etc--are sorely missed today. That was rock in those days. Thanx!

jimi hendrix played after the who because the who won a coin toss to play first

I think the Stones are better, but in R&R Circus the Who out perform the Stones. After "Exile on Mainstreet" though, the Who became better than the Stones. I don't approve of the Who's reunion because with Keith and John dead the spirit of the Who was dead aswell.

they seem more nervous and reserved, because theyd just 'experienced' jimi
