That makes no sense at all. We all learned how to read from books. And we learn how to use a computer by practicing on computers. Are you suggesting that these kids learn about computers from a book?

yeah, i saw a programe on tv about this and it showed a class of kids using these and the jast sat there smashing the screens and screaming at it... why should i spend £400 for one of theese to be donated to stupid kids that will break it in 30 seconds???!!!

Because there is something called the 'digital divide' where when you give a child a laptop they are still unable to use it because they lack the skills and capacity to operate the device. Would you give a nation of illiterate children books to read? The books would be useless unless the children knew how to read them. If the children are not taught how to use these laptops the entire operation of giving them computers is a complete waste.

It's graphics is okay but the things that it can do is really little.I think it's really boring.Or maybe I haven't found out how to use it..
