haha that one guy started hiding his face 5 minutes into it when everyone in America saw his face. Pretty sad, can't they sue for not wanting to be on TV

Imagine Chris leaving a luxury car wide open anywhere, several days in a row, keys on board, no immatriculation, no ID. Imagine the scene surrounded by cameras, to feed a national show. Do you think the guys you'll catch will be seasoned thiefs? Or will they be mickey-mouse opportunists too amateurish to sniff the 'too good to be true' smell? Is it fair to parade them as typical car thiefs and to punish them harder than the latters? Is the approach appropriate to 'inform' people on car theft?

You see...you too have this strong need to judge and brand people.
What's up? Have a seat. Are you Chris Hansen NBC?

The fact that you arrest and ruin someone life BEFORE he does something is pretty similar to the brilliant idea of moving war to POTENTIAL hostile countries BEFORE they do something wrong. Guys, even the greatest sinner deserves a trial. These are the basis of democracy.
I'd like to see the WHOLE TRANSCRIPTION and see how explicit the decoy gets to catch the predator. Both sides are like pervert.
For all those scared parents: if your doughter is like that decoy, you have a really big problem!

And yet they bring condoms and lube, soooo.... maybe it's a good thing they get caught before they do any real damage. But thats not why they made this show. The police should do this anyway, without NBC. It's stupid to broadcast this show because the predators will be suspicious.
To sum up, it's a good idea, it's just these money grabbing bastards doing it to make money out of fear.

Absolutely. It's scary to see how many americans get totally nuts when it comes to pedophilia. Suddenly, civil rights become irrelevant. They wish those guys would be brutally executed, without trial, or even tortured. I read somewhere that a man decided to clean the States, to become a heroe. He got the names of convicted pedophiles on the net, showed up with a gun at their house, impersonating a policeman and shot them. Those men were considered very low-risk. |
