Lego 1440 rpm V8

I upgraded the engine from the previous video to a double cam setup instead of a pushrod setup, and now it has 440 rpms more.

What kind of air compressor are you using? Surely not the lego one? I would think a big one would pop the lego hoses.
kattansikte (August 28, 2008 at 8:22 pm)
now you just got to build the car 5/5

your right. i fucked up. i was thinking that because it runs on air that you dont need an intake and an exhaust, but you kida do.
nicjasno (August 25, 2008 at 7:05 am)
How else do you intend to time when the switches will open and let the air into the cilynders at appropriate times? This is a reciprocating engine, not a turbine.

if its running on compressed air why does it need camshafts?
