Hiccups aren't the best thing but sneezing kills you. Even still four weeks after i had my surgery August 5th i still hurt. The worst part is being so dependent on other people while you have restrcitions after.

well when I was young(7 years old) I did have PE but it was very small and almost invisible, also my peadiatrician told me that it's going to disappear in puberty as I'm growing taller. But actually it was only getting bigeer and it still is, cause I'm only 14 and i'm still growing taller I'm swimming a lot and PE is getting smaller but verx slow and I think that nuss is going to be unavoidable

Sneezing is the worst!

I'm curious how it hurts. It shouldn't unless something else is going on.
Better to get it done when you are young. The younger the better. My surgery was at 18... would have been much better earlier.

Much better when you are still young. I didn't have an epidural and I found I didn't do well with morphine. So vicodin helped take off the edge a little.

I had the Nuss procedure. It was well worth it for me, since it really effected my health. Although I had complications (Cartilage was hardened to bone). It was pretty serious pain, and it aches still when I get cold. But it was well worth it. Cosmetically however... I guess it depends on how much it effects you emotionally and psychologically. Personally... if my health was fine, i wouldn't have done it. |
