According to Marius Devries, Madonna changed the lyrics of this song but refused to be credited as a song writer, we'll never know why.
I agree with you, Madonna's version is way better then Bjork's version.
Come on, Bjork is not talented (she cannot even compose melodies). She's just a weirdo. She was on the top once, then she never succeeded again on the mainstream, so she became "marginal". It's too easy to become a wannabe underground like Bjork.

Maybe you should check out the Bedtime Stories CD and read that the writing credit for this song goes to: Hooper/Bjork/Marius Devries. This is the ONLY SONG on that CD that Madonna DIDN'T collaborate on.

I'm afraid to tell you there's no BEDTIME STORY demo with Bjork's voice mainly because MADONNA wrote BEDTIME STORY.
BJORK sent to Madonna a song called SWEET INTUITION (you can find it on youtube).
SWEET INTUITION is the core of Bedtime Story. Madonna uses some of the lines Bjork wrote, rearranged them, added her own lyrics and gave it melody (Bjork's version has no melody, the lines are sung freely).

Then, Madonna used a couple of lines, added her own lines, rearranged everything, gave a good melody to it and made BEDTIME STORY.
Listen and compare: SWEET INTUITION (by Bjork) and BEDTIME STORY (by Madonna). I said "by Madonna" only because they didnt even meet to write this song. Bjork sent SWEET INTUITION and Madonna transformed it into BEDTIME STORY without Bjork's help.

No dude, you are wrong, the other guy is right. Bjork DIDNT WRITE this song for Madonna.
MADONNA and BJORK collaborated.
What BJORK wrote is on the song called SWEET INTUITION (the other guy told you that and he/she is right). Madonna kept a couple of lines and added much more, besides giving melody to the song.
Comparing both songs BEDTIME STORY and SWEET INTUITION, I'd say Bjork gave the idea, the core, Madonna made the song. Take your time and compare them.
