The umps manipulated NOTHING in the Sox Indians series last year. Cleveland chocked on a bag of deep fried DICKS! They were up 3-1, and AS USUAL pissed a lead away to Boston.

I guess you don't understand marketing at all jackass....who cares if San Antonio tunes in? They don't care about small media markets! Why do you think that those teams MOVE all the time? Do you think The Utah Jazz are from Utah? Hell no. The Lakers-are they from LA? Hell no. They move small market teams to bigger markets...even ones that win! The Lakers had 5 NBA titles when they moved from Minneapolis! Seattle is now moving....and I wouldn't be shocked if San Antonio moved within a decade!

Ok well with that pretzel logic because if the San Antonios of the world never have a chance then you'd lose an entire market as they'd never "tune in" .
Television ratings are only one aspect of the beast .
Obviously you let the boys play the game but the umps and refs manipulate by controlling the game.
Much the way the refs did with the Patriots in 2001 and the Red Sox Cleveland series in 2007.

Actually it's a combination of going to the line on ticky tac calls and shooting the ball more than anyone in the game!

Kobe leads in scoring because he's always going to the line. You start calling real fouls and not babying people like him then maybe the league would have some credibilty. It's sh*t like this 02 and the ref scandels of the last couple of years that certainly OUT the NBA. Europe's got some $ now. They might take some of these Marquee players anyway.

really? Is that why the San Antonio Spurs won 4 titles? They were the lowest rated finals series in modern NBA history-if they were fixed, you'd see 2 large media markets play EVERY YEAR!
You'd never see San Antonio, Utah, or Indiana in a finals series....It would be NY, LA, Boston, Chigago-etc.....they would actually reallign the conferences because too many big markets are in the EAST.
