You are wrong some of the new car from lotus does offer ABS. Plus lotus now offer many driving aids cause they want to compete with other car manufacturers. I mean without computer techology; cars will not be safe and capable of reaching high speed into a corners. For example, formula 1 car.

According to wikipedia: Head designer, Laurens van den Acker, has stated in an interview with Top Gear magazine that there are possibilites of the Furai being used for racing in Le Mans, and he also has strong hopes that the car could be brought to the market.

here's my example to you...Nissan GTR Skyline...packed to blowing point with electronic gizmo's and computer trickery, yet its not as fast as an Ariel Atom, which is just a tube space frame chassis with a big engine in the back...
