Ron Paul: A New Hope

http://www.ronpaul2008.com RON PAUL - PRESIDENT 2008 Congressman Ron Paul is the leading advocate for freedom in our nation's capital. As a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, Dr. Paul tirelessly works for limited constitutional government, low taxes, free markets, and a return to sound monetary policies. He is known among his congressional colleagues and his constituents for his consistent voting record. Dr. Paul never votes for legislation unless the proposed measure is expressly authorized by the Constitution. In the words of former Treasury Secretary William Simon, Dr. Paul is the "one exception to the Gang of 535" on Capitol Hill. He makes it clear that his principles will never be compromised, and they never are." Digg it! http://digg.com/videos/educati... http://www.ronpaul2008.com

Ron Paul is the man. He's what we really need in the white house. Never before have I found a politician I can so wholeheartedly agree with and believe in. He's one of the few wholly uncorrupted politicians out there--It's really too bad he hasn't received more attention.

I am so sick of watching the two goof balls running for President. Our current leader, nor any of the other country leaders know what to do this current financial crisis. There is nobody to lead us folks. This Nov. I'm going to not vote for either of the goof balls. I'm writing in Ron Paul.

I read through Obama's website. As I said I WAS behind his proposals. I even donated to the campaign. After giving things some thought and hearing Paul, admittedly, my perception of politics and the role of government changed immensely. I know that Obama says the money is there. If he said that there were nuclear weapons in Iraq, would you believe him?

PalaeoPalyGuy.....Then show me a credible source that says the Ron Paul want creationism taught in public schools. I am waiting for your reply.

Monsturd, these are contrasting examples. Separation of church and state is clearly spelled out in the 1st, drugs are not. We have certain inalienable rights provided by the constitution that neither the federal government or the states should be able to violate. Opening the door for religion in in public sciences classes opens the door to possibilities such as Kansas banning Pro-Choice organizations and protests. This would not be a free country if states were allowed to do such things.

PalaeoPalyGuy.....Obviously, you don't support McCain or Obama because they believe that the "holy spirit" impregnated the "virgin Mary" and that created the "son of God". Is it fair to say that anybody that believes this is not fit to be President????
IPOMonsturd (October 12, 2008 at 11:25 pm)
PalaeoPalyGuy.......I don't agree with Ron Paul on his belief about creationism. Could you please show me where I can confirm your statement that Ron Paul wants creationism taught in public schools.
IPOMonsturd (October 12, 2008 at 11:19 pm)
PalaeoPalyGuy....States' Rights are very important. Sometimes the Federal Government does things that are unconstitutional, and the states should be able to defend their rights. For example, medical marijuana in California. The federal government does not have the constitutional right to tell people what they can and can't put in thier bodies, and California has given its citizens the Constitutional right to do so. Do you support the Federal Government where this is concerned??????
