I don't see why there's any reason to belittle others. Can't we all just appreciate the music?

"Seventy two was right when the good music ended"
So my question is why are you watching/listening/commenting to a song/video that came out in '83????
11 years AFTER "the good music ended"?
HAHAHAHA! Oh man! It's you! You are that guy??
I am going to laugh at you for the next 2 days!
Thanks man!

I agree you're an idiot who knows little about American pop music.
The 80's, you lived it...please.
I'll bet your parents still send you money.

LMFAO! Dude, take it easy! I don't want your pace-maker to overheat!

These comments seem to be getting a little testy...BTW this song was a cover of singer/songwriter Moon Martin's original (which i did not know until I searched the title on You Tube). So the noonsense about thinly veiled "drug lyrics" cannot be attributed to RP.

Born in 72'? Seventy two was right when the good music ended, you were all of 13 when this song came out.
Wow, a teen through the 80's, blessed with having experienced the worst decade of the 20th century for pop music, poor bastard.
Look-up 'Schlock' and learn. Although not quintessential 80's garbage, this song wasn't Palmer's music, he was trying to cash-in and he did.
Palmer could sing, but the clothes didn't match the man so to speak, a successful money grab. |
