they aren't really metal at all, dude. they have their heavy side, but they are labelled as 'progressive metal'. if you saw this because you were looking at roadrunner's videos, the direction here is so much different than their other bands under the label

Claynoid, you're wrong on so many levels. Megadeath isn't even comparable to DT, and for two reasons. 1.) Dream Theater would own them. Studio and live. No doubt. 2.) Their music is much different. Megadeath is almost 100% metal. Dream Theater is metal, yes, but they bring much more to their songs than just crunchy riffs and fast solos. Between Rudess and Petrucci, they'd own Megadeath in a heartbeat.

megadeth hands down would fuckin own them. msutaine is great enoguh lead for any band and he plays rythm and sings. you try doing thast to holy wars. marty friedman is a god, chris poland is fucking amazing, jeff young is pro, nick menza is another god and gar samuelson is fuckin amazing. they based their career on playing difficult songs.
