the person driving the tank is my dad, lol joke. Shopping bag person was pretty brave eh? its probably best his anonymous cause the government will just make an example out of him if you decide to go against it. But you would also have to give credit to the driver, if the driver ran him over then the shopping bag man wouldnt be so brave. We would call it stupidity, thin line between bravery and stupidity. The fate of fame for that man was in the drivers hands. no pun intended

read alot of comments that i don't understand cause i only have a very vague idea of what happened at Tiananmen, but i would like to say that this is one of the most powerful symbols of our days' heroism. i am so impressed by the power of a simple human being: no matter what happened to him or why he did it, he made that big tank hesitate on its way.i think it's simply heroic
