No problem, there is nothing wrong in not knowing something and wanting to know. There is something wrong if you are told something and refuse to believe it.

Damn, if you wanna know about somethin' that's no way to ask for educate man. That's The Staple Sister's and there late father singing a message then that WE still need to believe in and that's to RESPECT YOURSELF & Others around you. WAKE UP & take notice to what REALLY going on in the world today. It's not bt accident!

Around this time, the staple singers were the hottest group of the time. They sang "message music". Message music is music that encouraged, uplifted, and talked pride about unifying us as black people and eventually all of us. They first were into talking about how WE must respect ourselves before we can really big a strong group of people. Staple singers were a gospel group that crossed over into soul music but still had gospel message in their songs.

Larry Graham never performed with the Staple Singers. From Sly and the Family Stone group that he played with first, he went solo from that point on.
