Where can i get a chip for mine? and how xactly do u bellmouth the trottle body and knife edge the blade?? and what kinda rims are those?? the look damn good

Besides that I just have a chip. These were only available for the '95 and prior northstars. Nobody was able to hack the '96+ northstar software. Way back when this video was taken the car was still stock. It's a whole different animal now.

Thanks! Good call on the exhaust, that was my best gain by far. I removed my res and replaced the two mufflers with borla pros. I also built a CAI. We have lots of room after you take the entire stock unit out. On top of that I bypassed the coolant lines going to the tb. I also bellmouthed the throttle body and knife edged the blade.

djruehle... great looking STS.. i have a maroon 97 and love it.. havnt raced ne one yet tho... So far ive got my res removed with a set of xcelerators and a cold air intake... wat all you have done to yours? i wanna kno what i could safely beat haha

Your grand prix doesn't weigh as much as my 4wd truck. Check out cars . com the grand prix weighs in at 34xx lbs, not 4500

everyone saying that cadi is heavy. i have 2001 cadi an an 07 grand prix supercharged. you would think the cadi is heavier but that grand prix wieghts about 4500lbs an its only a v6 but they do keep up. also have a 2005 sts v8 which will smoke both of them with ease

Yeah, off the line my '99 STS is ballsy but off the line isn't where it performs well. I took it over 125 mph last night passing up some Volkswagon that wanted to drive faster than me but didn't want to line up to race. Twice he had a hell of a head start and each time I caught up pretty easily and passed him. Bad comparison, I know... Cadillac Vs. Volkswagon, but it's all the racing video I have for it right now and it shows the STS in its element: performance and handling at high speeds.

I think the GTP won only cuz it was modified...do the same work to the caddy and see if the race turns out the same...that was just stock caddy.

I think the caddy has a little more meat on its bones slowing it down unlike the GTP, which didn't favor the cad too much in the race. But I could be wrong. Unsure about the weight of the pontiac but I know my 95 STS weighs around 4650lbs.
