ll cool j should get props on his longevity. His resume is the truth. many emcees come and go but ll has remained. If it was not for the clown buffoon garbage rappers like soulja boy, hurricane chris lil wayne and young jeezy, L would be multi platinum now. LL can battle any emcee in the game especially the above mentioned and totally demolish their careers. Top 5 emcees, RAKIM, KRS ONE, KOOL G RAP, GURU, LLCOOLJ. I also cannot forget Big Daddy Kane.

not correct the top two and the 4th are true the other two i can't agree with awards are mostly based on sales or popularity to prove my point Rakim never went platinum and LL had to drop off of Janet Jackson(she was the main reason) tour cause it was almost empty every night. the other two are Lyrical content and Flow Delivery. there should be different list All Time and Current
