well i watch a video of of kris play a show where explained how they had a show at san dimas high and they couldnt find the school and they kept asking about the school and kept getting the wrong directions. then latter that night he was writing the song and through that line in. so unless he was was just making a story i am pretty sure i am right.

That line refers to Kris Roe being a high school dropout, not that the high school doesn't physically exist.
It's a classic cheesy love song that has a certain unmistakable charm about it which really makes it timeless compared to 99% of the rest of pop-punk. The rest of Blue Skies, Broken Hearts was truly what defined Roe as a strong song-writer from a lyrical standpoint and set The Ataris apart from other contemporary bands like Blink 182 and MXPX.

it was a high school they were looking for around the time he wrote this go and there is a line where he says searching for a high school that you know doesn't exist.

and what does this song have to do with san dimas high?

They were never "anti-radio"... the song is about how the radio was playing crappy songs, not that being on the radio made your songs crappy.
