The Taurus is better than the Malibu,especially the older models.I had a 1995 taurus and it fianlly broke down at 250,000 miles.I do think the new malibu looks better but overall the taurus is just better.

Looks really nice. Definately competitive with the Accord and Camry. But we're going to have to see how well it holds up over the long term (not that the Japanese are impeccable in that respect; the auto trannies of last generation Accord V6's sucked, dont know about the latest gen Accords though).

2009 hybrid goes to 34 mpg, but 6 speed 4cyls. have been reported at 40mpg. Just shows that Hybrids are not necessarily worth the cost. GM should tout this fact that consumers save thousands of dollars and still get great MPG.

I have to say the design of this car is really nice. Its really nice. I would buy one. However look is only half of the battle. Lets just wait and see how it will do. If the quality can hold up, then i would say american cars are back in the game with toyota and honda. But thats just for the small car. I now still prefer japanese cars cause they last better. but 5 years from now and we still reveice good response from the people, that would be it. American come back.
