Deuteronomy 7:1-2 "When the Lord your God brings you into the land you are entering to possess and drives out before you many nations, then you must destroy them totally. Make no treaty with them, and show them no mercy".
No person of integrity could bring themselves to bow before such a psychotic sky-god. Should I be before him, just before they led me to hell I would say "fuck off, you sadistic, evil, and hopeless excuse for a deity" - truly, only men could have created such a "God".

when we reject the words of the Savior .....we have nothing to offer anyone for advice. You are using a unrepentant human heart and a deception from Hell as a mentor and guide. Thus Satan is able to decieve those who would rather have: SELF; than a Savior. It is a terrible thing to steal people's souls. memama- You don't know what Jesus said as you were not there. You think this anthology of writings called the bible has not been edited and fabricated in order to put together a story? How much is fiction how much is fact we will never know. Fortunately it doesn't matter because we have REALITY and God is REALITY.

memama: You are only a christian by virtue of geography, timing and childhood indoctrination. Had you been born in India you would no doubt be a Hindu, had you been born in ancient Greece or scandinavia then Thor or Apollo would be your hand-me-down gods. You have been handed a dogma by your (no doubt well-meaning) family and blindly accepted a patently absurd man-made God. You are now closed to any genuine spiritual growth or wisdom as your dogma tells you to label it "sinful" - Sad indeed!

the ENTIRE message of Jesus Christ, and the meaning of Him, coming to this earth, to reconcile us to Holy God, is exactley what Jesus tells those He was teaching...that: "choose this DAY who you will serve, GOD or mammon"(yourself)...that IS the choice and to do nothing is to choose...its tells us..."who so ever will may come...." to the cross of Christ and recognize He is Eternal and the gift is from Him....not we ourselves.....there is no "moment"...there is HIM....and we all choose....

memama: I agree with you (who'd have thought it?). All man-made religions are false, none more so than christianity - a bronze-age text written by men, a man-made God so psychotic sexist, petty, jealous and violent he could only have been created by men. Spiritual truth is in my egolesss presence in the now - that's not a religion, just pure being, and where bliss and genuine connection to source is found - it cannot be found in dogma.
