CASIOPEA is not only a super band, but also a bridge between cultures. Particularly, it is the first Japanese band in the contemporary history which has had concerts in South Korea. CASIOPEA has performed with so many world-class musicians, including those from USA. In fact, their '4 x 4' made in around 1985 is a collaboration with famous American musicians. I think that marketing plays a far more important role in USA than in other areas of the world.

It's a shame they never caught on in the US. The one thing I've always liked about music from other countries, or when other countries try to do American music styles, is that they're not afraid to do things that might not necessarily work so well together. American music has become way too safe, IMHO.
