Thanks. I will have to read up more about this. Things like this should be taught in the school system as there is alot of ignorance when it comes to what happened.

More like the Vietnamese communists had already invaded Cambodia and overthrown the Khmer Rouge before anybody knew what was going on. You can thank the Vietnamese liberators of Cambodia for making these atrocities known to the world in the first place.

tulipchic, im not sure how to respond directly towards someone but you asked why america didn't help. the US did send troops and bombs. a lot of the bombs they dropped killed innocent cambodians. not much help but they were involved for a period of time.

I was in Cambodia earlier this year, and the genocide can still be seen everywhere, landmines are still a huge problem, kids are losing limbs and dying every day....its soo sad....yet the khmer people are soo friendly and always smiling

Why didn't America or Australia or someother rich country go in and and stop the atrocities happening to these innocent people. Oh thats right. They had nothing of value to our Western Governments and therefore left to the whim of a sick and evil dictator.

We both did crimes so we are all to blame as enemies |
