Jonathan Dimbleby talks about his love of horses

Distinguished broadcaster Jonathan Dimbleby has had a highly successful career and he is well known as the presenter of BBC Radio 4s Any Questions. Recognised as a leading author, journalist and political commentator, his recent BBC TV series on Russia was critically acclaimed. What is less well known about Dimbleby, is his passion for horses. During the interview (which was recorded before Dimblebys trip to Russia) he tells of his background with horses, how he started on fat little ponies that used to bite and kick. Progressing to riding and training young horses for a living and culminating with his proudest moments in life, when he was crowned the South of England Show jumping champion.
