it was PB who had a failure on a 675, it did drop a valve and it was vague as to what was at fault. triumph said it was a maintenence issue, but who knows. they have been proven to be reliable since, might just have been one of those things. it runs higher piston speeds than any other 600. there was nothign written about it being because they let the oil run low, theyre a professional magazine and im sure they check every variable before an endurance test.

What is the spray for @ 0:50s? I will guess taking fumes out of the air by way of adhesive attracktion.

crap

so it was performance bikes?
you just keep saying it dropped a valve but don't give details...............
i run 2 675's in a race team, so it would be good to know rather than hints of a vague failure.....
it's like pulling teeth trying to get info here!
LOL!

I just said but you don't seem to be reading it properly.
It wasn't oil related!
axiomizer (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
i think it was performance bikes who blew one up because they didn't check the oil
axiomizer (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
how do i get a thumbs down for that remark?????
shauncarlpope33 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Nope don't think it was oil related.
Triumph didn't even release a statement to say why the part failed if i remember correctly. |
