You obviously don't have a clue.
This one specific App that is using RDP protocol to control a desktop. For demonstration purposes he is only controlling the PC infront of him, he could connect to any desktop or server that had RDP enabled and had access to in the world.
What you are on about is using bluetooth to send a few basic commands, not actually have the enviroment on your screen.
On a side note, this isn't apples "invention", it;s the genius of allowing anyone to make an app.

WoW...you know what ..I can do that with my sony-ericson k790...with the bluetooth...and I even got a 3.2 mp cam...and I dont need to download anything or do so many complex task to control my computer with my remote...Iphone didn't invent anything, Wait ther's the Nokia 5800 comin out...the Iphone reign is over!!
