Of course, but it looks like they're using 5 ball-1 flare. They could easily use 20 ball-1 flare and still easily see where they're aiming, and it would heat the barrels as fast.

I believe that US would emply its super fast flying planes, because fighting RUssia is not at all like fighting bare handed Iraqy fighters. A-10 are good only when all of AA systems have been destroyed. NOt likely in RUssia. Just imagine that power, someone starts fucking around, they press one button, and have vodka, or tea and shoot jokes.

OMG! Exactly, counter a threat from proliferation into Europe. A-10 are slow flying, not far reach planes, who would be decimated by Russian Mig 31 with reach of over 400kms. What would an A10 do, shoot its 30mm.

Why would they use so many tracer rounds? They heat up the barrel a lot faster.
