this trailer prolongs my excitment and waiting pain! GOD EVA MOVIE COME OUT SOON!!!
uh..just fix the EVA 3D graphics first. looks like a damn gamecube game. Yikes!!

That trailer was awesome, considering that all almost all teh clips are from different movies. The only question I have is where you got the footage of the EVA units. I saw several hypothetical trailers from diffrent people and they all had footage of the 3 units. Did those clips come off of Weta's website?

Which, the trailer or the news about the ACTUAL Live Action Project?

P.S. This Really Pisses Me Off!

Not to mention the Blade trilogy, the Matrix trilogy(went racing downhill after the first), Sin city, Constantine, and I know Iron Man is going to be a piece of crap. Live Action is just another way to say waste of money at the box office. They have taken enough of my hard earned money. I will no longer be party to this grotesque industry. Next time a movie comes out, I'm just going to read the book, or comic, or wherever else the origional idea came from.

Oh hell. Ive been looking around the internet and if the rumors and blogs are credible then this unholy abomination may indeed see the light of day. No live action version of anything has ever not sucked. Transformers Spawn sucked, Spiderman 1,2 3 sucked, the Hulk Fantastic 4 sucked epicly, LOTR Harry Potter, in comparrison to the books, sucked just as baddly as the rest. They are going to tarnish my favorite work of art; one less fond memory from my childhood. I'm depressed right now.

'They' ARE making this, by none other than WETA Workshop, the makers of the LOTR Trilogy, along with it's own Richard Taylor and Peter Jackson who will be working in tandem with Evangelion's own creator, Hideaki Anno, and all wrapped up in a decent budget of $120 million, a god send for something like this when anime-live action conversions of both the past and present were lucky to get $15 million, not to mention it's actually more than any one of the LOTR films.

You scared me there for a minute. Before I read the video descrition i was terrified. Thank god they're not really making this. No offence to the maker of this video, but any attempt to convert Eva into a live action film would be bastardizing a classic. Very creative editing though. |
