Unfair he let him retake him then he took him

I agree with you ericjjohnson.
Only one thing: the FIA should have contacted McLaren box to get Hamilton drop back and let Raikkonen regain a couple of seconds advantage.
They let him win and then panalized him instead, which wasn't really fair.
By the way, LH reminds me of M.Shumacher, they both are ready to cheat a little bit to win.

You can say what you want. On this day, Kimi was outdriven.

H'mm I wonder dear youtuber, have the FIA already decided who's won the Italian GP at Monza? I bet they have! (it's one of the red car drivers! Even if neither of them finish!!) They'll probably plump for FM again!

After watching the scene 10 or 15 times where HAM tries to overtake RAI, I noticed that HAM is quiet behind RAI and the overtaking did not work. Just in that moment HAM steered to the left taking the shortcut instead of driving throught the corner just behind RAI. You can see this beginning at 0:58 Min. IMHO HAM did had enough room for taking the corner correctly hehind RAI but instead he took the shortcut. I don't believe he took the shortcut to avoid an accident.

Go Eric! :P You're completly right!
ericjjohnson (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
the judgement is right. he gained an advantage, it was against the rules and he got off lightly considering the 3 options they had to choose from, one of them being a drop of 10 grid positions at the drivers next event. Hamilton is still driving like a rookie, he is fast but don't forget about canada where he seemed to not notice the 1) red light 2)stop cars 3) guy talking in his ear saying "red light". One thing LH is good at is ruining other drivers races. Hamilton and his fans are whiners.

Jarno Trulli said But on the other hand, it was very clear that he got an advantage out of it, so that's where it is. The rules are very clear.
If you cut the chicane and you get an advantage, you just have to drop back and give back the position and in Lewis's case he shouldn't have attacked straight away at the next corner; that was it.

I definitely agree [with my colleagues], because he did get an advantage, because he wouldn't have been that close behind Kimi had he not cut the chicane, the Williams driver(Nico Rosberg) said.

If racecar drivers weren't arrogant, no one would ever attempt to make a pass. It's sort of a job requirement. |
