I love MSF! I was lucky enough to spend some time with a team in a Thailand refugee camp. I can say from first hand experience, they are a life-saving organisation providing care for people that otherwise would have no opportunities for health-care, food, water or sanitation. Long live MSF and thank-you to all donors.

politcial aspect is imprtant yes but so is emergency response. It is good that there are different organisations with differnet aims. MSF try to focuss on emergency work, saving lives immediately. Others on politcial solutions.
Also
MSF bear witness, they call it 'teimonage' and it is what seperates them from an organisation like the Red Cross.

surely the political aspect is just as important. To truly help these people, political structures need to change. That's why medecins du monde broke away, they bear witness to atrocities |
