French, Spanish and Italian are called Romance languages and are closely linked to Latin, whereas German and English (to name 2) are Teutonic. German and English still take words from Latin but less than languages like Italian, Spanish and French. Chinese is a tonal language, but hey thats a whole different kettle of fish ^_^ Ty for listening have a nice day :D
