Steve McQueen died from a metastatic tumor in his stomach, he was diagnosed with mesothelioma probably resulting from asbestos exposure during his time in the armed forces. Nobody ever claimed McQueen smoked. We don't even see him inhale in this commercial! For years he ran 5 miles a day and was very active, I have doubts he smoked, but regardless he didn't die from lung cancer.

Yeah, about 50 years ago they didn't knew cigarettes were bad for the health and it was cool, socially. I smoke like 5 ciggs a day...after te meals or after sex. You can't really judge his endorsement, because back there it was a whole different story. And you can respect people you don't know...By not judging and saying rude things...since you don't know them.

And once you're addicted it's hard to let go. Most of the people who upload these clips let us see how sick the tobacco industries are. Plat this ad again and listen. You hero was telling us: "I like to think...and figure things out..that's why I smoke Viceroy" To bad he got fooled and so did we. I tried to quit for years. Thanks to the Allen Carr method I succeeded. Now that's respect worthy.

I understand you're a fan. Respect is a big word. I do not respect people who I do not know. Also what I do not respect is the endorsment of ciggarettes. I was a nicotine addict for 22 years. In old movies they smoked like crazy! Making it look cool and all, hell even athletes and doctors endorsed ciggarettes.

I understand your point, and I agree. I don't agree with homosexuality. BUT You should respect him anyway. Even more after he passed away...he can't defend himself and if he was alive, I bet you wouldn't have balls to say that in his face. Then we would see who would get the ass kicked.
