The fact of being ''only 12'' is a big advantage when it comes to playing instruments. The earlier you start, the better it is. Why? Well if you start playing an instrument from a relativly young age and you keep on playing for lets say the rest of your life? You basically grow up playing that certain instrument. Its the same with learning languages. I started playing at the age of 17, now im almost 19. I didnt start playing late, but the earlier, the better. Just keep practicing ;D
