50 Ways Again

Originally when I posted "Showing 50 Ways" I was trying to show that the song could be played with only one drummer and still get in all of the percussion parts without sequencing. I had never played it the actual way that Steve Gadd plays it on the song because there is a Tamborine part that you have to cover if you are not sequencing. But we went ahead and watched the actual Gadd vid and learned it the actual way it is played. I figured some of you might want to see my explanation of how to play it since the Gadd vid did not go into great detail. BzB

Just heard some guys talking about "50 Ways" on the radio, going on about the drums and gushing over Steve Gadd, which is how I ended up looking up the drum part on youtube. I've always been fond of this song and (being a dancer) the gripping intro. I've also always been fond of drums and percussion. After this video I wish I could play the drums myself. Seems a little late at my age, so I better pick up my dancing classes again I guess... ;-) You guys are great. Keep rockin' :-)
