Thank you for the wonderful video on St Pio. One of the things not widely known about St Pio was his devotion to St Gemma Galgani. Since before her death in 1903 St Gemma had previously experienced many of the mystical graces he was undergoing, he developed a certain devotion to her, and in 1921 he asked permission of his spititual director to read her writings.
