yes, dressage is a good foundation, and it is important, i myself have a great dressage horse, but i also show in costume and showhack, for those classes dressage is not as important. it has helped me however in the medal paterns, but i can see how people find it boring, if im not riding i find it boring to watch.

i request dressage! its the best and its the background to every single other class there is at A rated shows. unfortunately many people feel that its not that important. many find it boring but its at the olympics!the musical freestyle is the best thing in the world to watch go look up Any Van Grunsven under WEG 2006 final round! let me tell you its jaw dropping! so more dressage would do everyone some good to watch and learn from!
