from what I know, Real Madrid wanted to sign his lil bro but Wesley advised him to stay with Ajax to improve and perfect his game, become the best player he could and learn as much as he could before moving on.
He told him not to be focused on money and move for a better wage but wait until he is good enough (he would not have got 1st team football at Real)
