And tribal peoples have no qualms with technology, as I said... that was from religious civilized people. Tribals only require it doesn't ruin their quality of life... a criteria we should've all used. Jerry Mander mentions how our waves of enforced technology only presents itself in positives, and ignores its negative effects. Check, however, the Etowah tribe who existed in northern Georgia, and their fishing traps. They were unobstructive to life, but made daily work easier. I'm ALL for that!

And that's better... in fact tribal living will most likely appeal to more people, in villages and such, and that doesn't denote "primitivity" of technology at all. This isn't a preaching where I'm trying to say how people everywhere must live because any deity told me so or anything, believe me.
But if I as a member of the living community need others to stop polluting my water or air, it's for survival, not just have a hissy fit over so-called god-morals. No sanctimonious attitudes here. |
