http://traininghousedog.com/ Most people do not know that a dog can be trained to stop immediately chasing cars, cats, birds, squirrels, livestock, strangers, neighbor kids, pizza man or the postman. Obedience is the tool we use to accomplish this. It is especially important if the dog shows aggression toward someone!! It really does not matter whether you own a small dog or a large one. It does not matter if your dog is naturally protective or a passive friendly type. Most people do not know that a dog can be trained to be aggressive and then be immediately totally friendly toward the same person. A stock dog that works cattle or sheep is trained to nip only when it is given the command to" Grip " A trained "Protection dog" is trained to bite only when given the command. Then be immediately friendly toward the same person when the commanded to do so. A well trained dog is excellent around kids, doesn't mind other dogs or cats. An all around good family pet is loyal to his family.
