No ONE could predict the record turn out. predictions like polls are based on past experiences. Obama won the election the only way he could.... by a landslide. The machines could only skim off so many Obama votes. If they were used. A magic trick only amazes teh crowd(IE works) if the audience does not know how it is done. Knowledge truly is power. Don't kid yourself -they will find other ways come 2012 and will try but everyone is watching.
