Carling Black if I'm thinking of the same Guy, uses anti-religious sentiments in order to ridicule others beliefs. this is also known as bigotry. he is intolerant to others belief. I'm sure even you would find that offensive if your own etos was mocked, and I'm sure you do hold somrthing sacred.

If you watch the best comediants(Carlin,Black)you will see they do some very good points,Carlin especially since he was once a catholic.He especially bashed on the people that used religion as an excuse for the most horrible things instead of mocking the religion itself.

Religion needs to evolve and so does society before any real peace begins. Comedians need to think before they mock something that has no meaning to them. I think most sensible people know when a line is crossed. I feel sorry for the monty team when they have to reach this low for cheap laughs. I though they had more tallent than that. Obviously not

Nero are you even bothering to completely read my comments? I never blaimed religion in my comment i just said that.I said that if religion allow these sort of fanatics to blossom then they need to be restructured. Notice that isaid they used the god excuse, i never said that religion itself was to blame for it. I think that religion is used as an acceptable excuse to a range of unnaceptable behaviours and positions and that it needs to be restructured so that evil men can no longer do that.

You are blaming religion on the deeds of evil men. Most of these evil men use religion as an excuse to do these deeds. Christianity is no exception to this rule, but I still state that it's people who are evil not religion.

So? They dont practice it. One of the leading causes of death for the last 2000 years has been the god excuse.Muslin,jews,christians,jews,hindus all taking turn at killing each other because supposidely "God" told them it was a good idea.If religions allow these sort of maniacs to blossom then they need to be restructured. That is my opinion.

to morais: also, I don't think religion had any free rides. Religion used wrongly is the only crime of religion. Most religions preach Love and Peace.
