The melody is a bit tacky, but the song is great. It takes a brilliant musician to make a great piece out of a tacky melody. I heard of couple of guys who could pull it off. Mozart, Beethoven, maybe even Bach. Not bad company for Pat, eh? :)

Who said Pat's playing isn't technical? He is one of the most technically gifted and harmonically complex guitarists of all time.

such great emotive playing. He might not be as technical as some other people (which is a criticism I think is stupid) but my god pat's music just hits right at that place in the center of your soul and you just feel. |
