Nobody has to say 'disney like' when others say Indians never harmed the earth, as if they had recycling bins outside of teepees. (I stole that line from Sherman Alexie, a real Indian). The real problem with believing that Indians never did any harm that they are magical is that you never allow them to be modern.

As an graduate major in Ecology and the numerous articles I've read it has been proven that are ecosystem was alter after the colonization. One good example are the red woods in yosimite.
