Hi rometube, the first song is a poem by W.B.Yeats based on a traditional song he heard someone sing at a fair in Ireland at the end of the 19th century - so i presume the melody is also traditional - John Williams throws in a questionable reference to "an English country garden" in the accompaniment.

Yeah. I think its some kind of mixed. He's not that accurate. Quite a bit of adjustments for a countertenor star.

interesting, these songs are quite low, sounds like he uses head voice in his lower range, not full falsetto, although some notes he passes through.... I think that is why he sounds so manly
