I was there I think :) City Gardens, aka Shitty Gardens? So many great shows there. From punk to industrial to Mancurian and shoegazing bands...probably my favorite show there was Happy Mondays, at the height of Pills Thrills n Bellyaches. Good times. *Sigh*

I saw 808 State and MBM back in Trenton,NJ when 808's "gorgeous" came out, and Jack was one of the sweetest people i've ever met. Yeah, that was an earplug kind of show. the lowest bass ive ever heard in a live act. Both bands actually.

Do you know of a song that he did back in late 80's that repeats "Movin and a groovin, the powers make you wanna go on the dance floor"? I always thought that was strapdown, maybe one of the many alternate versions? Its important to me, because his music effectivley turned me on to acid house/techno/electronica. He is a high favorite!

it was amazing! but yeah, the bass was too much to capture anything from this show on video, but i shot it anyway for the memory because some of these are my favorite songs :).

Damn I am jealous, the sound is too much for the microphone. That must have just been awesome!
