I advise anyone who prefers that pussified Van Hagar crap to get the book "Van Halen: A Visual History".....it will change your life.....tons of rare photos from the glorious Van Roth years.....the fun & party attitude VH had in the early years really hits you like a truck....those guys really loved being onstage and kickin' your ass with great music and showmanship.....Van Hagar never had that - it was about getting offstage to go count your millions.....fuckin' lame-ass corporate rockers !!!

The point that many people fail to understand is that Dave brings the feisty spirit to Van Halen.....there was a ton of arguing during those early albums but look at the quality of music that came out of it....Dave called this "belligerent enthusiasm" and it made VH legendary.....when Spammy joined the band it suddenly became "let's all just get along and make nice, easy songs about love".....FUCK THAT SHIT.....I want a rock band to be edgy, furious, and fun -- that was Roth Van Halen to a T.

hey my friend, the guy that said that hates ibanez is an asshole, he doesn't use normal guitars, he creates his guitars with diferent guitar parts, and the awesome thing is that he uses Fender microfones, VAN HALEN IS THE SHIIIIIT!
